Durch ein Revival von Synthesizern in den letzten Zehn Jahren, zu erkennen an zahlreichen Neuauflagen klassischer Synthesizer diverser Hersteller, einer teilweisen Miniaturisierung von Synthesizern und rapide gesunkenen preisen, sind diese Instrumente für viele Musikenthusiasten erschwinglicher geworden. Besonders die technischen Möglichkeiten zur Verbindung und Synchronisierung verschiedener Instrumente via Digital Audio Workstations hat die Produktion von Live Musik mithilfe von Synthesizern, ob analog, digital oder softwarebasiert, vereinfacht.

Die SYNTH-KOLLEKTIV Konzertreihe zielt darauf ab, Liebhaber:innen der elektronischen Live Musik eine Bühne und einen Übungsort zu geben. Das Format soll deine Kreativität und Live-Performance fördern. Darüber hinaus soll hierdurch ein lokales Netzwerk von Künstler:innen entstehen die eine ähnliche Vorstellung von der Arbeit mit elektronischen Musikinstrumenten haben. Dem Publikum soll die Klangerzeugung mithilfe elektronischer Musikinstrumente nähergebracht werden. Das bedeutet, eine breitere Masse an Menschen erlebt, wie elektronische Musik entsteht und welches Potential die Modulation elektronisch erzeugter Klänge birgt.

Das Event startet um 20:00 Uhr im Muli Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 34, 14469 Potsdam. Du solltest dich spätestens um 18:00 Uhr vor Ort einfinden um das Equipment aufzubauen und einen Soundcheck zu machen. Eine Anmeldung erfolgt bis spätestens sieben Tage vor Eventstart via dieses Onlineformulars. Du kannst entweder einen Slot von 20 oder 40 Minuten füllen.
Jede Konzertnacht steht unter einem bestimmten Thema. Du musst daher einen klaren Bezug zur thematischen Eingrenzung in deiner Performance deutlich machen. Diese Limitation soll kreative Impulse setzen. Während des Auftritts darf das Publikum dann mithilfe einer Onlineumfrage, welche mittels QR Code an die Wand geworfen wird, abstimmen, welche:r Künstler:in an dem Abend das Thema am besten getroffen hat. Diese:r Künstler:in erhält dann eine Flasche Crémant.

Additionally, it aims to create a local network of artists who share a similar vision of working with electronic music instruments.The audience should gain a closer understanding of sound generation through electronic music instruments. This means that a broader audience will experience how electronic music is created and the potential that modulation of electronically generated sounds holds.

The event starts at 8:00 PM at Muli, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 34, 14469 Potsdam. You should arrive no later than 6:00 PM to set up the equipment and conduct a sound check. Registration is required at least seven days before the event via this online form. You can fill either a 20 or 40-minute time slot.

Each concert night revolves around a specific theme. Therefore, you must clearly demonstrate a connection to the thematic focus in your performance. This limitation is intended to spark creative impulses. During the performance, the audience can vote on who best captured the theme that evening through an online survey thrown on the wall via a QR code. The artist who receives the most votes will be awarded a bottle of Crémant.
