'I started to self-medicating myself which is very wrong,' she expained. 'So anyone at home who has been going through gender dysphoric disorder don’t self-medicate, go see a doctor.'

'I live in England but I don’t do my treatment here I do it abroad because there aren't many people who do know this here.'

Roddy, who became known worldwide for a surgery addiction that saw the star spend £600,000 to alter her looks, added: 'I tried my best to be a male but failed badly because I wasn’t happy.

'I carried on those plastic surgeries because I actually wanted to be a woman... I have gender identity dysphoria I have been treating it.'

Of her regrets, Roddy continued: 'I do regret having the fake six pack and arms, I do wish I had the strength in those days to see a psychiatrist and people to help me in that journey.

'I don’t have a shadow of a doubt about being a woman. I still have more plastic surgeries to do, I will have my breasts enlarged, voice surgery so I have a more female voice and in a year I will have my gender reassignment surgery.'

Advice: Roddy asked viewers going through the same thing not to try and treat themselves, as she said: 'I started to self-medicating myself which is very wrong'

At the time, the TV personality had said that she wanted to go through the surgery so that she could 'fit into her blazers', and apologised to the co-hosts for the 'lies over the years'.

On Sunday, Roddy told The Mirror that it felt 'amazing' to reveal the news as she said: 'I'm known as Ken but inside I've always felt like Barbie.'

Roddy, who now uses the pronouns 'she' and 'her', has had hormone injections to achieve feminine hips and now wears a D-cup bra.

The star, who says her 'body matches my mind' now, will complete her transition with gender reassignment surgery next year.

This will mean that Roddy will get silicone breast implants, 'face feminisation surgery', Adam's apple removal, have her jawline shaved and her chin modified, as well as having her penis and testicles removed.

'I love it and everything that comes with it – going to nice hair salons and getting my nails, eyebrows and eyelashes done. Buying dresses and high heels and wearing sexy lingerie,' Roddy, who now lives in London, said.

The personality admitted that she used to dress in her mother's clothes when she was a boy growing up in Brazil, and also had an inclination towards more feminine toys.

Roddy also said she had breasts as a child due to her body producing more oestrogen than the average male.

The star also made the heartbreaking admission she was bullied and sexually abused at school, saying she was 'feminine and weak' and couldn't fight back.

She said this spurred her on to make a success of her life, and claimed she realised she wanted to transition during a photoshoot in New York in 2018, when she was asked to dress in women's clothes for the shoot.

Roddy said she took the lingerie home afterwards and wore it, leading to an 'awakening.'

She was diagnosed with gender dysmorphic disorder and started on medication for her transition.

Speaking out: Rodrigo before most of her surgery and right last year as a man, has previously spoke of the concept of gender identity

Discussing the changes which have taken place since starting hormone therapy, Roddy said: 'My genitals have shrunk quite a lot and my sex drive has decreased a lot too, which doesn't bother me at all.

Roddy said she's noticed a difference in how people perceive her, adding men now look at her because 'they desire her' while women wish to emulate her style.

Posting on her Instagram account on Saturday, Roddy wrote: 'In 2018 I had my first professional #photoshoot dressed as a woman, that experience made me realise that it was what I have always meant to me !

'A #woman ! Thanks to the amazing @thomasevansphotography and team in #newyork #bunny #playboy #blond #sexygirl

Roddy had previously dipped into the female world by appearing as alter ego Jessica.

The former Big Brother contestant was spotted on Bond Street in the run up to Christmas last year, dazzling in a faux fur coat and hat.

Before that, Roddy - then Rodrigo - had spoken candidly about her thoughts on sexuality and that 'people shouldn't be forced to identify as a particular gender'.

And in September, the TV personality exclusively told MailOnline that she received 'lots of compliments' when she transformed into Jessica.

Speaking of the concept of gender identity and branding themselves as a 'gender fluid person', Rodrigo previously told MailOnline: 'People should be able to express themselves in ways that reject labels and gender stereotypes.'

She added: 'I'm a huge supporter of gender equality and the new trend gender fluid - I regard myself as a gender fluid person.'

Roddy's unleashing of Jessica comes as she recently shed her famous Human Ken Doll persona in a stunning non-binary photo shoot.

Roddy also revealed that she had been ordered to lose 37lbs by TV bosses but is reluctant to shift the pounds as she wants nothing more than to be happy.

She revealed: 'I have changed my fashion style and gained three stone so I don’t look like Ken Doll anymore, I was never a Ken Doll wannabe.

'I have always wanted to be free and to express myself in the way that I felt like, and I am very lucky that I live in a civilised society where it is acceptable to be whatever you want to be.'

'I would like to be known for my life story and my willpower and determination to change my looks with 72 plastic surgeries and to be respected for it and if I carry on been referred as a Ken Doll wannabe I won’t get any credibility in the future.'

The TV personality exclusively told MailOnline that she doesn't want to fit to a mould by losing weight, and has decided to tone down her typically flamboyant style.

Roddy revealed that she has been on a constant diet for the past seven years in order to maintain her 22 liposuction procedures, but no longer feels the need to conform.

The star has also been out in Thailand recently and revealed that she felt 'amazing' and was fascinated by the local culture.

She said: 'I have always been a non-binary gender fluid person and here in Thailand they are very respectful and open minded to anyone like this.'
