More model information12th dynasty wooden model of funeral barge: The hull is shallow, with narrow beam; graceful curve to sheer-line. Deck slightly hollowed out, leaving low gunwales which merge into bow and stern; the two latter have the ornamental finials usual in funeral barges.

@bartv @nebulousflynn @anregetta1982 Thank you. @araon the oars functioned as tillers, I think, looking at literature. This was quite tricky to do (and to be honest I rushed it, because I did not think it would work) and the great contributors of @micropasts did the photomasking.
