The Ministry told APA that the decision approved on March 18, 2015 came into force on April 4.
It sets out the rules of accreditation of correspondents and cameramen of foreign mass media, who intend to work as journalists in Azerbaijan and prepare video shootings for this purpose.
The document also includes a list of documents that should be submitted by journalists for registration: “The Foreign Ministry will revoke the accreditation of foreign mass media representatives in case they violate the rules of accreditation, work against the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visit Azerbaijani territories occupied by the Republic of Armenia, without the consent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or disseminate distorted or false information or this information is approved by the court decision.”
